May 24 - JV @ Luxemburg-Casco:  De Pere 1  Lux-Casco 6
    The De Pere JV Baseball team ended their season with a 6-1 loss at Luxemberg-Casco on Thursday.  De
    Pere ended their season at 11-8 overall and 10-6 in conference.  Steve McNicall had the only RBI for De
    Pere when he hit a double down the right field line scoring Josh Honzik.  Mike Beyer and Kyle Ott split the
    duties on the mound.

May 21 - JV HOME vs. Marinette:  De Pere 9  Marinette 5
    The De Pere JV Baseball team scored seven runs in the first inning and never looked back.  De Pere
    ended up defeating Marinette 9-5 on Monday.  Josh Honzik earned the win on the mound.  Honzik struck
    out 16 Marinette batters.  Craig Hooyman was 3x4 with 3 RBI’s to lead the Redbird attack.  De Pere is now
    11-7 overall and finished 10-6 in conference play.

May 19 - JV HOME vs. Notre Dame (DH Game 2):  De Pere 15  Notre Dame 7
    De Pere used a nine run fourth inning in the second to defeat Notre Dame 15-7.  Garret Greeneway
    earned the win on the mound pitching five innings while striking out four.  Greeneway was also 2x4 with 3
    RBI’s.  Craig Hooyman, Taylor Eckholm, and Josh Honzik all had two hits and two RBI’s in the win.  

May 19 - JV HOME vs, Notre Dame (DH Game 1):  De Pere 7  Notre Dame 8
    The De Pere JV Baseball team split a doubleheader with Notre Dame on Saturday.  In the first game De
    Pere got down 4-0 after two innings.  De Pere tied the in the third inning with four runs.  Notre Dame scored
    two runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to go up 8-4.  De Pere scored three runs in the sixth to end
    the scoring at 8-7.  Kory s was 2x3 with 2 RBI’s.

May 17 - JV @ West De Pere:  De Pere 4  West De Pere 5
    De Pere had a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning before West De Pere scored three runs on three consecutive
    hits.  De Pere scored one more run before losing 5-4 to West De Pere.  Steve McNicall was 2x3 with an RBI
    single to lead De Pere in hitting.  Josh Honzik pitched the complete game giving up five run (three earned).  
    Honzik did not walk a batter.

Apr 23/May 17 - JV vs. West De Pere:  De Pere 10  West De Pere 13
    April 23 - The De Pere JV Baseball team came back from a seven run deficit to force an 11 inning tie that
    will be finished at West De Pere in May.  Josh Honzik settled down after the first inning to give De Pere a
    chance.  Honzik recorded seven strikeouts.  De Pere scored one in the first, two in the third, four in the
    sixth, and one in the seventh to force extra innings.  Kyle Ott relieved Honzik in the eighth and pitched four
    solid innings, allowing just one hit.  Logan Hendricks and Kory Guns had two hits apiece for De Pere.

    May 17 - The De Pere JV Baseball team fell to 9-6 after losing a suspended 12 inning and a regularly
    scheduled to West De Pere on Thursday.  West De Pere scored four runs in the top of the 12th inning to
    secure the suspended victory 13-10 over De Pere.

May 15 - JV HOME vs. Ashwaubenon:  De Pere 4  Ashwaubenon 6
    The De Pere JV Baseball team lost to Ashwaubenon 6-4 on Tuesday.  De Pere took an early 2-0 lead in
    the first inning on an RBI single by Taylor Eckholm and an RBI groundout by Kyle Ott.  Ashwaubenon
    scored one in the third, two in the fourth, and three in the fifth to top De Pere.  De Pere scored two in the
    sixth inning on a sac fly by Eckholm and a pass ball that scored Garret Greeneway.

May 12 - JV @ New London (DH Game 1):  De Pere 5  New London 7
    In the second game De Pere lost 7-5.  Craig Hooyman and Kyle Ott had two hits apiece.  The De Pere
    pitchers walked ten batters in the game.  

May 12 - JV @ New London (DH Game 1):  De Pere 8  New London 5
    The De Pere JV Baseball team split a doubleheader at New London on Saturday.  De Pere won the first 8-
    5.  Kory Guns was 3x3 with two RBI’s.  Josh Honzik picked up the win on the mound.  Honzik struck out four
    batters.

May 8 - JV HOME vs. Seymour:  De Pere 11  Seymour 1
    The De Pere JV Baseball team jumped out to a 6-0 lead after the first inning and never looked back.  De
    Pere defeated Seymour 11-1 in five innings on Tuesday to improve their record to 8-2.  Craig Hooyman
    and Garret Greeneway had two hits and two RBI’s apiece.  Josh Honzik also added two hits and an RBI.  
    Logan Hendricks pitched all five innings allowing only one unearned run.  Hendricks gave up only two hits
    while striking out five.

May 3 - JV @ Pulaski: De Pere 4  Pulaski 3
    The De Pere JV Baseball team improved to 7-2 with a 4-3 win at Pulaski.  Steve McNicoll was the hero
    when he hit a two run home run in the sixth inning to end the scoring.  Taylor Eckholm added two hits.  Josh
    Honzik pitched the complete game earning the victory on the mound.  Honzik struck out seven and walked
    only one.

May 1 - JV @ Shawano:  De Pere 15  Shawano 9
    The De Pere JV Baseball team improved to 6-2 with a 15-9 win at Shawano on Tuesday.  Nick Schadrie
    was 3x5 with 7 RBI’s and 3 runs scored.  Josh Honzik also added three hits to help De Pere secure the win.  
    Charlie Shoman pitched the final three and a thirds innings to earn the victory.  Shoman allowed just one
    run in relief.

Apr 28 - JV HOME vs, Bay Port (DH Game 2):  De Pere 4 Bay Port 6
    In the second game, Bay Port scored three times in the second inning.  De Pere scored two in the fifth to
    cut Bay Port’s lead to 3-2.  Bay Port extended their lead to 5-2 in the sixth with two runs.  De Pere scored in
    the sixth and the seventh, but it wasn't enough as Bay Port won the game 6-4.  De Pere was led by Mike
    Beyer, who had two hits and an RBI.  Logan Hendricks took the loss, striking out five hitters.

Apr 28 - JV HOME vs. Bay Port (DH Game 1):  De Pere 2 Bay Port 4
    The De Pere JV Baseball team dropped their record to 5-2 after being beaten twice by Bay Port on
    Saturday.  A three run fourth inning for Bay Port was all they needed to defeat De Pere 4-2 in the first
    game.  Freshman Taylor Eckholm led De Pere in hitting with two of De Pere’s three hits and an RBI.  Josh
    Honzik took the loss, striking out five batters.

Apr 24 - JV @ Marinette:  De Pere 5  Marinette 2
    The De Pere JV Baseball team improved their record to 5-0 with a 5-2 victory at Marinette on Tuesday.  
    Charlie Shoman pitched the first three innings, earning the win.  Logan Hendricks finished the on the
    mound pitching the final four innings.  Hendricks struck out six batters and only allowed three hits.  Kory
    Guns was 3x3 with an RBI double.

Apr 19 - JV @ Ashwaubenon: De Pere 15 Aswaubenon 6
    The De Pere JV Baseball team remained undefeated by defeating Ashwaubenon 15-6 on Thursday.  De
    Pere was down three runs in the fourth inning before tying the in the fifth.  De Pere then scored nine runs
    in the sixth to earn the win.  Kyle Ott pitched the final three and a third innings to earn the win.  Ott did not
    allow a run.  De Pere was led by Craig Hooyman and Garret Greeneway who were both 3x4.  Kory Guns,
    Josh Honzik, Mike Beyer, and Ott each added two hits.

Apr 17 - JV @ Seymour:  De Pere 14  Seymour 3
    The De Pere JV Baseball team improved their record to 3-0 with a 14-3 win at Seymour on Tuesday.  Craig
    Hooyman was a perfect 4x4 to lead the 16 hit attack.  Kyle Ott added three hits and Logan Hendricks,
    Garret Greeneway, and Kory Guns each had two hits.  Josh Honzik pitched all five innings, striking out five.

Apr 16 - JV Home vs. Shawano:  De Pere 7 Shawano 2
    The De Pere JV Baseball team remained unbeaten when they defeated Shawano 7-2 on Monday.  Logan
    Hendricks pitched the complete game giving up both runs in the first inning.  Hendricks settled down and
    struck out eight batters.  Kory Guns led De Pere in hitting by going 3x4 with 2 RBI’s.  Craig Hooyman and
    Garret Greeneway added two hits apiece.

Apr 10 – JV Home vs.Pulaski:  De Pere 11  Pulaski 1
    The De Pere JV baseball team got off to a fast start in 2007.  De Pere beat up on Pulaski 11-1 in five
    innings on Tuesday.  Josh Honzik pitched a no hitter through four and a third innings before giving up two
    hits in the last inning.  Craig Hooyman collected three hits and three RBI’s to lead the Redbird twelve hit
    attack.  Logan Hendricks, Kory Guns, and Mike Beyer had two hits apiece.  Brian Driscoll had an RBI triple
    in the fourth inning to put the game out of reach.
